Matcha Iced Coffee
Heya,
whilst I do love food as much as the next person, my favourite part of breakfast is and always will be my snazzy, iced coffee. Despite always being cold, I always have my coffee iced even if it means sitting in the kitchen in a coat as I just prefer it this way. (I’m aware I’m very strange!) I like to keep my coffee relatively simple as well as healthy as I prefer to save my energy for the exciting breakfast, I tend to make myself, (obviously on a school day I keep it basic with fruit and yoghurt), this quick and easy coffee recipe is sure to give you that much needed morning caffeine boost and is a perfect addition to the morning. Whilst the matcha isn’t necessary I would still class it as important as it enhances the coffee flavour as well as the colour of course. The only difference in the coffees I make each day is their base flavour as I like to change it up for a bit of fun every morning. Since I started my “coffee journey” I have grown to love the Jordan’s Skinny Syrups purely because of the number of different flavours they offer. I have around 8 of their bottles which I chop and change with daily and so far, haven’t found one I dislike. They are the perfect addition to my morning caffeine boost, and I would highly recommend them.
Here is my recipe for Easy Matcha Iced Coffee:
Ingredients: (serves 1)
- 2 handfuls Ice
- 2 cups Black Coffee (I LOVE it strong!)
- 150ml Almond Milk
- 1tsp sweetener
- 1tsp Matcha Powder
- 1tsp Jordan’s Skinny Syrup (I use the White Chocolate!)
Method:
- Chuck all the ingredients into your blender- I use a Vitamix
- Blend until smooth (it’s that simple!)
- Enjoy!!
